Dear Shane and staff,
I have just had a visit from Larisa whom I wrote to and met on a visit to Minsk in April when on a trip with the Chernobyl children's charity. She stayed for 3 weeks and I invited her daughter to accompany her as an interpreter, she is a doctor. It was a very successful time, the daughter is keen to work here and we have contacted the BMC for advice on applying for work. I will visit them in September and have asked them to think about coming to England, they are very keen but it is a very big step for them to take even given their situation. My time with them reflected everything you have written in your letters and although it took me some time to use your services can only thank you all for your support and help in finding someone who reflects your descriptions of the type of lady that most men with any sense would love to meet. My next step is how do I proceed, as you have the experience I must ask for advice as everything I have done to date, visa etc was done through the childrens charity but i think they would draw the line at this request. Anything you could help me with I would be grateful, procedure etc, I am 65yr which may be an issue. I would be happy to write a piece in your testimonial if you let me know how to do it.

It is nice to hear from you again! How are you? I hope everything is going well for you. I would be happy to share my opinions with you. From the start I felt like I was in good hands. I was very comfortable with the handling of invitations, registering, and the arrangements made for my airport pick up and drop off worked very well. My flat was comfortable, the arrangements for meeting my lady were excellent. My driver/ translator could not have been better. Julia was and still is, simply the best!

My expectations were met and surpassed. Very Pleased with my experience. My only suggestion is that all who is involved in your tours understand what the tours include. Minor details for me, but could be a major problem for others. As a whole, Thank You Very Much for a Wonderful Experience.

Hello Irina,
My stay with Nizhny Novgorod occurred very well. Perhaps you know it already, Svetlana will come to join me at Liege, and she is committed there.

In Moscow, I met Andrey from your Moscow office, a punctual man, obliging and available. He arrived, at Svetlana and me, to make us visit Moscow in a pleasant way before drive us to the other airport to we go to Nizhny Novgorod. He was also very useful.

In Nizhny Novgorod, also there I met charming people. Galina the responsible for running the agency there, is very devoted, pleasant, and ready to meet our desires. Julia, the interpreter, also very available and seeking to make itself useful as for the recording of my passport at the foreign office.

Only negative critic, the apartment on the ninth floor in a renovated building and without lift, that made make exercise; -)

I had a very nice time in Ufa. The apartment I was in was very nice. Andrey, the driver, is a good man and I enjoyed his company. Sveta (the translator) worked very hard and was very eager to help me in many ways. One day, we had a barbecue in the country house of Andrey and Olga with their son and with Sveta. Olga is a friendly woman and a very good chief. We all had a great adventure and everyone, including the woman I was seeing, enjoyed the week. Everyone was professional and very fun to be with. I'm afraid I have no suggestions on how the tour could have been better.

Dear Irina:

How are you???? I hope you are doing well. My tour to Sumy was great. When I got off the plane in Kiev I was met by one of your guides I'm sorry but I can't remember her name. Then she put me on a shuttle bus to Sumy. Andrey was my guide in Sumy and he was very good. My trip was a lot of fun and I enjoyed it very much. The only advice I have is to sent people instructions on how to fill out and mail their visa application to the Ukraine Counsel. I had some trouble with some of the questions and wasn't sure how to answer them. Plus there are special instructions on how to mail your visa. I mailed mine by UPS and it was returned. The Counsel would not take delivery from UPS so I had to remail it by FED-X. Just keep up on current Ukraine Visa Info.

Also your staff need to be more informed on train and bus routes and times tables. Give people advise on where and how to exchange US dollars. I did not know that there would be ATM machines in Sumy The easiest thing to do is get a cash advance with a credit card. The banks would not exchange most of my US cash because they said it was to old. The Ukraine was a beautiful country and the people were very friendly when they found out I was American they were very very helpful, when I offered to pay them for their help they would refuse to take any money. (people wouldn't do that in the US). My impression of the Ukraine is that they are a honest, smart, hard working people, I was very impressed with them. The lady that I went to met in Sumy was everything that I could have hoped, for she was great and we got along very well, it was a wonderful trip.

Hello, the tour was fine. I was picked up at the airport and it was late but everyone was waiting for me, especially my Lena. And I had a wonderful week with her. I suppose maybe the problem is that there are many inconveniences, maybe it would bother other people, but it didn't bother me. It probably would be helpful if there was a way to pay via credit card for the tour remainder in one shot. It was a little bit of work going to look for cash machines with adequate funds, I did find one bank machine that had enough funds. Perhaps in the future they might have more information and knowledge of such things. But in reality I didn't request the agencies help. Basically I did everything with my fiancee. So there is no blame it's just the city is as it is.

The people in the agency were helpful and friendly and the breakfasts we had every morning was good. The only problem I had was with the passport controls when I arrived and they gave me a hard time at first and left me wondering what was going on and when I left the airline, Kazakhstan airline staff shook me down for 40 dollars. But corruption was to be expected. Strangely enough nobody bothered me in the city, even though they knew I was a foreigner. So even if people look at you, that's the extent of it. Really I had a wonderful and unforgettable week.

I'm just trying to be helpful for you so you can be more helpful for other potential tourists. The city itself is nice and there are some very nice things, lots of very large spaces and they are usually unoccupied spaces so there is a lot of privacy.

Also, I would like to ask something as I am having a very difficult time with something. When I was in Uralsk I went with my fiancee to have proper INS photos done. We had several done but none were right. I have the instructions and I left them with her, from a kit I purchased elsewhere. And she did the photos again with someone who told her they knew what to do, and the photos were wrong. So I want to file for the fiancee visa for her and everything else is ready. I have collected all documents etc. I just need the proper pictures done and I don't know why it is so difficult to get done in Uralsk. Anyway I did such pictures for myself and I sent them to my Lena as examples. Maybe it would be good if somebody could be found in Uralsk that knows how to do such pictures. Because for us it is so difficult, and in future if somebody else comes with the same idea, to make someone there his wife, then he will have the same difficulty. and it's good business for everybody when two people get married. So I don't know what to do. I suppose my last resort would be to fly her to Almaty or Moscow if there is a place in those cities that knows how to do the pictures correctly. I don't know if you have any ideas on this. But the tour was good and the reality was I didn't want to leave. But I had to consider my work etc, and expenses. Really, daily expenses in Uralsk are reasonable.

It would also be helpful to have more information available on Uralsk because it is so difficult to come by such information on the net unless of course a person can read cyrillic. I can't read russian so I don't even know if there is information in such language on Uralsk. I suppose that's all I can think of at the moment but if you have any more questions I will be glad to answer.

I was very happy with the organization for my tour in Poltava and enjoyed my time in Ukraine. The agency were very helpful and on my first visit to them in the office, they were very friendly and welcoming. I was given a souvenir coin of Poltava, a single ready use camera and both my fiancee and I were given a morning tour of Poltava in the car by the agency's driver. On my fiancee's visa refusal by the British Embassy in Kiev, the agency were supportive towards us and I was impressed with their all round service.

The apartment was comfortable but the location was not suitable as it was away from the main road and surrounded in complete darkness with no street lights so not safe at night for a foreigner. Word had got out that I, a foreigner was staying in the apartment and I think it would be a good security measure for the future if the apartment's owner do not disclose to people that a foreigner was staying as it can bring trouble. Overall, I was happy with my experience in Ukraine. Money wise, Euros are accepted in addition to dollars for Ukraine.

As you can see, we've include both positive and negative comments that clients have sent us. We like to receive feedback, both positive and negative, because it tells us we're either doing things correctly, or we have issues that need to be resolved. If you have any problems with any part of our service, please do let us know, for if we don't know, we can't get better. For those of you who didn't make it onto one of our tour's this year, then you still have a few weeks before the snows come to make it happen between you and your chosen one. Alternatively, you can still travel during the winter if you don't mind the cold too much. It's a much quieter time for tours over the winter, so it's actually a good, and very picturesque, time to visit, providing you bring appropriate clothing. Bring fur lined boots, gloves, hat, warm trousers, warm jumpers, a good coat etc. Bring the same sort of things you'd take on a Ski trip in January, for the weather is about the same.

Gift Deliveries and Photos

To send a lady a gift, simply click on the 'send me a gift' button from the ladies profile page and you'll then be show a list of gifts which you can send her. Simply pick from the list, proceed through the payment section, and your gift delivery will be delivered to the lady in a couple of days, at most.

Please remember, we will be raising our gift prices over the Christmas and New Year period, so get any gift orders for Christmas or New Year in, in plenty of time, to avoid paying these higher, seasonal prices. This allows us to place orders ahead of time, so we don't have to pay more, and thus can pass the savings onto you. Remember, we can deliver anywhere in the former USSR, even to ladies who are not with our marriage agency. All we need is the ladies address and phone number to arrange a suitable time to make the delivery. For those ladies on our database, we have this info already, so it's not an issue.
